Finance Executive of ~$4.0 billion health system; Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the planning and integration of various financial services across PSH, including such things as revenue cycle and patient financial services, financial planning and analysis, the monthly financial close and internal/external reporting, accounting policies and procedures, merger and acquisition financial assessment, capital allocation, project management, reimbursement, managed care contracting, treasury, investments, supply chain and overall business unit support. Responsible for ensuring systems and controls are operating as intended to provide timely and accurate, financial and other information to PSH leadership to minimize risk and optimize System financial performance, including assessment and analysis of financial performance information related to such things as expense management, productivity and compensation, acquisition due diligence, strategic business planning and long range financial plans. Responsible for interactions with and reporting to the PSH Board and related governance committees. Key part of Executive team of PSH, supporting and advising on the financial aspects of decision making process regarding the diversification of PSH’s business interests through mergers/acquisitions and/or joint ventures, evaluating alternative opportunities assessing specific options while providing decision making criteria and recommendations for optimal course of action. This includes interacting on these various initiatives with peer senior leaders including information technology, treasury, revenue cycle, supply chain and human resources as necessary.
