Learn. Lead. Be the Difference. My career began in my last year of college and continues now with my election as Pueblo County Commissioner in 2024. My education and work experience have well prepared me for this new role. I’m a collaborator and problem solver. In every job I have had to this point, finding answers and serving others has always been in my job description. I’ve spent the majority of my career with Pueblo Community College (PCC). My last position as Director of Grant Compliance was the most challenging and rewarding of my career. The landscape for higher education budgeting and revenue generation is changing. I worked closely with our staff and leadership team to ensure they had the support they needed to manage budgets and grants within their areas. I enjoy building friendships and working together. 28 years at PCC, I am proud of that accomplishment.I engage with my community and am a proud member of Pueblo Rotary #43. I have served as a board member for other nonprofit organizations. It’s important to have a stake in the place you live. In my current role, I will continue to work to ensure Pueblo County thrives. I am proud to serve the citizens of Pueblo County. Pueblo is a wonderful place to call home!
