PrimaryBid sits at the heart of the financial ecosystem and enables connections between public companies and individual investors through several offer types. On our platform, you can invest in IPOs, Follow-ons, Investment trusts, bonds, and SPACs.Tech stack: React frontends (built with NextJS), NodeJS microservices (build with NestJS), microservice architecture throughout, MongoDB for data storage, Splunk for monitoring and observability, GitLab and ArgoCD for CI/CD, mainly GraphQL gateways with a few REST endpoints, everything runs in Kubernetes, including locally. Working full-stack, from applying designs from Figma to building supporting APIs to continuously improve users’ investing experience. Responsible for end-to-end user onboarding experience including implementations of- OTP authentication - Transactional emails - AWS Cognito - KYC (Tracesmart & Onfido)- Push notifications - Migration from message to event-driven emails to support scaling of the systems - Building admin dashboards to support customer service, operations & compliance teams Day-to-day involved in refinement of the upcoming features which includes collaborating with stakeholders, product & design when architecting the solutions, preparing tickets on JIRA & presenting them back to the team. Culture committee member working on continuously improving engineering culture exploring ways to foster collaboration, innovation, and growth within teams. Mentoring junior developers as well as helping non-technical members get up to speed with code & how to run it Regular production support looking after the entire platform
