ABOUT PAULA COCOZZA

SPEAK TO ME, my second novel, was published in 2023 by Tinder Press (Headline). The Bookseller reports that \"the novel is a \'keenly observed\' look at a marriage with \'a man, a woman and a mobile phone. It is a gloriously unexpected study of love, longing and miscommunication in the digital age.” I hope it\'s going to start, and join, a lot of conversations. My first novel, How to be Human, was published in 2017 by Hutchinson (UK), and Metropolitan Books (US), and was shortlisted for the Desmond Elliott prize 2018. In my day job, I work as a features writer across the Guardian, for G2, the daily features section, the Saturday paper, Family and Arts pages. I write across a broad range of subjects. Recent interviewees include George Saunders, Oliver Jeffers, Derren Brown, Thandie Newton, Lauren Laverne, Serena Williams, Marlon James, the Pope\'s staff and Diana Athill.
