Lead cross functional team to design and develop light source illumination and detection modules from scope definition to concept to volume production• Perform opto-mechanical expertise, apply GD & T principle, and tolerance analysis to design filter/lens mounts, optical modules, alignment equipment, and subsystems in NX • Work closely with multiple suppliers to conduct DFM/DFA during design phase; frequently monitor CPK data to improve components’ yield, ensure supplier is ready for volume production • Lead DFMEA/PFMEA activities, create mitigation and contingency plans to reduce product/ process risks. • Lead cross functional team to drive issue resolution, improve modules quality and process capability • Work with leadership team to create work scope, break down to detail planning and scheduling for the team members to execute; track work progress and prioritize tasks in JIRA and MS Projects on daily basis • Successfully present technical design reviews, program progress reports to upper management
