About Paul Williams
I am a senior at Purdue University studying Business Analytics and Information Management. I plan on graduating in three years and pursuing a master\'s and PhD in economics afterwards. My interest in data analytics stems from a love of statistics in hobbies I have acquired over my life, including movies, roller coasters, and sports. As a previous student-athlete, I understand the importance of a drive for excellence, balanced time management, and a resilient work ethic. I have internship and volunteer experience with Caterpillar, State Farm, and the Federal Reserve, and am heavily involved in Boiler Catholics and BAIM Association on campus, where I hold leadership positions. I plan to pursue future opportunities in economic policy and research.

As a part of the economic consulting internship, I help connect international companies and governments with American markets, especially in the Washington DC area. I attend conferences, meetings, and embassies to promote American business and trade. I schedule meetings with companies to bring them into the US and overcome financial, regulatory, and other burdens. I also write proposals to foreign economic partnerships and bring international companies into American markets.
