Liaise with PPSC officials and parliamentary affairs on all cabinet and parliamentary related business-Coordinate and provide guidance and advice to PPSC headquarter counsel group and PPSC senior management on all cabinet and parliamentary related business and parliamentary procedures, and upcoming issues-Monitor the legislation and the activities of parliamentary committees to identify matters of interest to PPSC-Coordinate committee appearances, including ensuring the preparation of any briefing materials and any other required documents to support officials or the attorney general appearing before committees-Gather, analyze, and synthetize information on a broad range of subjects including using open sources such as CanLii, Open Parliament, Legisinfo, the Lobby registry, Hansards and other sources
