   Reporting directly to PayPal’s Treasurer, responsible for designing and implementing an institutional, comprehensive, cohesive, and integrated investment operations infrastructure across the global Treasury Group, while managing daily Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange investment operations responsibilities.Operational Support: • Lead a team that supports the Global Investments team and the FX Product team with all middle office and operational support functions.• Institutionalized operational processes and procedures by identifying key controls and responsibilities and implementing systematic and system-based solutions to ensure all risks were addressed and mitigated.Systems/Product Implementation:• Assigned as project lead for the Treasury Group supporting the migration of the Investments Book of Record from FIS’ Quantum to Clearwater. • Led the on-boarding and implementation of repos at PayPal, which included evaluation of the brokers, systems and workflow design, and cross-functional support and integration.• Consolidated numerous collateral initiatives (i.e. UMR, repo margining, central bank liquidity, segregation of assets, etc.) into a single workflow design. Developed the collateral operational support model and coordinated the integration of the various platforms to facilitate a systems-based workflow. • Led PayPal’s utilization and optimization of Bloomberg AIM, resulting in a true straight through processing (STP) trade flow process, while streamlining the trade and investments data from a single source.Controls Implementation: • Conducted a comprehensive and detailed review, analysis, and update of all Treasury Operations’ internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. • Migrated controls from manual Excel processes, that were conducted with significant latency, to near real-time systematic and automated solutions. • Leveraging the PayPal Robotics Team, assisted in the design and creation of an Operations dashboard for all FX related controls.
