About Paul Weis

I am a strategic international tax consultant with extensive experience in both public accounting and a large US-based multinational. As part of my public accounting experience, I trained in a Big 4 accounting firm’s National Tax Office. More recently, I have worked in-house at a Fortune 50 US multinational. Throughout my career I have addressed cross-border tax issues that US-based multinationals (large and small) face every day in a global economy. I have used my U.S. international tax expertise (subpart F/GILTI, transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, BEAT), as well as many non-U.S. tax issues, to guide cross-border and cross-functional M&A, restructuring and joint venture projects. I am proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and I use these tools to explain often complex rules in a manner that can be understood by all involved. I have always received high marks for my interpersonal skills, which is essential in the collaborative environment needed to execute projects.
