ABOUT PAUL WATSON

I have been doing youth worker for the last 8-9 years and have the knowledge and understanding of what the youth need to improve their lifestyle for the better. I am a highly motivated determined young male. I can relate to the children in today’s society. I am also a qualified FA Level 1 Football coach, which I have used as a tool to help people become confident. I can also give good advice when needed. I know I would be a good person to appoint for this any job. I am looking for the chance to help turn the youth of the children’s mentality into a different direction. I can be a good role model, which I think is what the youth need to be able to look up and see somebody doing something positive in life. I have worked with different children from England and in America and what I have noticed is that they like someone older who is willing to spend their time and have fun with then and it is a joy to see them smile. I enjoy working with young people and think this would be the ideal career for me. My roles as a youth worker isn’t to just coach a certain sport it is so much more. I am a counsellor who provides help by giving advise on how to deal with difficult situations and deal with the challenges that life will throws at them. They may see me as, a friend, being someone who might make a huge difference towards their attitude and body language and general happiness. Teacher as I can help them with their homework and teach them things that they might not learn at school such as practical life skills. Advisor they might have a dilemma they are not really sure about so they come to you to talk hoping you will be able to make the decision for them or point them in the right direction. And most off all they hopefully see me as a role model. This is someone that inspires them to be like you and feel you can help contribute to them having a better life because you are showing them the correct things in life.
