Shift Manager for a world-leading industrial gases and Engineering company at a top tier COMAH site (Hythe, near Southampton). Reporting to the site / Plant Manager, being responsible for the supervision & control of staff / contractors at the BOC production plant to ensure pipeline tonnage / customer demands are met. Key responsibilities include:* Supervise, monitor, and control plant operations to meet quality and operational requirements in the most efficient manner.* Taking responsibility for identifying and resolving operational problems of any nature.* Control and supervise contractor personnel in accordance with site rules and regulations and permit to work requirements.* Act as Senior Person on Site for on and off-site emergencies and implement site Emergency Plans as required.* Lead and manage a shift team and maintain good relationships with all site personnel.* Maintaining high standards of housekeeping whilst contributing to the site safety management system.* Ensure all site operations are carried out safely, and in accordance with the company and statutory operating and safety standards.
