As an entrepreneur with over 15 years in ownership and management, I\'ve built my career on hands-on growth and leading with integrity. In 2022, I founded NexTerra Subterranean Inc, where I serve as Owner and President, delivering innovative solutions in geotechnical drilling. This venture builds on my prior executive leadership in drilling operations, where I honed skills in operational strategy, team leadership, and board-level decision-making. Acquiring a specialized drilling division was a pivotal step, allowing me to pursue my independent vision while leveraging the strong foundations from my earlier experiences.My business roots trace back to healthcare, starting as an EMT in high school, then advancing through nursing studies and working as a staff nurse in pediatric intensive care. From there, I joined a privately owned healthcare company, rising to Director of Clinical Operations, then Nurse Practitioner, Junior Vice President, and eventually Owner before successfully selling the company. In these roles, I handled policies, project bidding, and industry challenges, guided by mentors who emphasized resilience and ethics. These experiences shaped my leadership philosophy of extreme ownership: taking full responsibility, inspiring teams to tackle challenges, and embracing calculated risks for innovation and growth. I\'ve become a more empathetic leader, focused on empowering others amid business uncertainties like competition and high-stakes decisions.My public service as a Lower Paxton Township Supervisor sharpened my skills in overseeing fire and police operations, a 150-person team, and multimillion-dollar budgets, emphasizing strategic planning and community impact. Roles on the Dauphin County Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board and Mental Health/Intellectual Disabilities Advisory Board have deepened my commitment to accessible support systems, blending professional ambition with societal well-being.I\'m always learning and growing, leading with humility to empower teams.
