ABOUT PAUL VERNOOIJ
I love automating lengthy and repetitive financial processes. I’ve been an Excel enthusiast since my first finance class in college when I needed to do some financial modeling for a business project. I was so hooked that I decided to focus on financial modeling in my career and I’ve become quite an Excel geek in the process. I thrive in situations where people think an analysis is not possible and I can help them get insights to drive decision making. In addition, I love automating inefficient processes to save professionals repetitive manual work and decrease reporting periods. I was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to New York City in 2021. I\'m a big European football (some would say soccer) fan. I also love to travel and have lived in China, Europe, and the US. I speak Dutch, English, and Mandarin Chinese and have worked with people from over 25 countries. I connect with people through humor and shared experiences. I like it when people who take their work seriously, but not always themselves. I will go out of my way to support those who need and deserve it.
