I have worked in the logistics sector since 1987, initially I worked as a sales representative selling next day parcel services with Parceline, following on I moved to international freight forwarding, selling AEI Pandair, Burlington ( BAX Global), Concordia,Transglobal Air.( USA route specialism), Lep International, sales ( Southampton) at LEP I was promoted to Branch Manager,( Exeter) after a successful 2 years I moved on to become, South West Region Sales Manager, based at Bristol. Next move in LEP took me to become Retail Sales Specialist, based at LHR. Next step I suggested to Damco that they open a Southampton office, as a result in Nov 1998 I set up Damco Southampton. Jan 2012, redundancy, joined RAK Logistics March 2012, new UK office opened May 2012, RAK Logistics closed its international branches so I left November 2013 and opened a new office for Norman Global Logistics in Southampton. 19-8-14, Tigers Global Logistics as UK Operations Manager. April 2015 Joined Geest Logistics as Commercial Manager. 2016 Commercial Manager at Meachers Global Logistics. Joined EV Cargo as BDM, Nov 2023. August 24, joined the customer service kings of Freight Forwarding. Killick Martin & Company Ltd.Out of full time employ. Reserve Soldier. Joined the TA March 1985, infantry with 1 Wessex, 2 Wessex.(S Type 1 yr to S Armagh)1st Bn 1R Hamps. B Sqn, Royal Wessex Yeomanry, Salisbury. Retired at 55 July 2017.School Governor for 12 years initially at Hythe School then Noadwood, past chairman of General Purposes and Finance.Hobbies, Rugby, Fawley RFC, played 2nd and vets & coach, now walking rugby, also a part 1 RFU Referee.
