Providing global technical oversight and leadership in the area of Functional Safety within the Home and Commercial sphere and working to lead within the developing area of robotics and automation.Developing and maintaining certification programmes and qualifications within the home and commercial business along with providing high level technical support to other business units to continually improve existing processes and facilitate development into new areas.Most recently this has included work on the impact of AI on Functional Safety and standardization and as part of this I am now a member of the IEC CAB AI Task force and the UK Task Group for Functional Safety and AI systems.I remain a member of many standards committees across the world for functional safety, safety critical electronic control systems,home and commercial robotics, electrical safety of appliances and also gas controls.
