Experienced Software Architect, Test Architect, Software Engineer, Technical Team Lead, SRE Lead, Cloud Architect and all around Blockchain guy.At some point over the last 24 years, I\'ve been involved in almost every aspect of a product development cycle and Cloud Service. Everything from setting up new labs, providing customer support, software testing, software development, software architecture, requirements gathering, and deploying and running cloud services. In most of these positions, I\'ve also had technical team leadership responsibilities for anywhere from a few to a few dozen developers.My software development and architecture experience includes early work centered around Systems Management of IBM Intel Based Software Platforms as well as more recent work defining and running some of IBMs cloud based offerings.In late 2016, I took the role of Head of Operations for the IBM Blockchain Team.Since joining the IBM Blockchain team my responsibilities have included- Overall lead of the SRE team for IBM Blockchain Platform- One of the key architects for both the IBM Blockchain Platform Version 1 running on IBM LinuxOne and Version 2 running on Kubernetes and Openshift Container Platform- Lead Architect responsible for overseeing the migration of 100s of live production environments from our version 1 to version 2 platforms with no downtime- Working directly with many large customers to enable them to succeed on our platform.My time in IBM Blockchain has allowed me to see and influence blockchain technology as it has evolved and allowed me to touch all aspects of blockchain across development, architecture, design, security, operations, performance and product management. It\'s also further strengthened my experience designing, building and operating cloud services and providing technical leadership to large and diverse teams.
