I\'ve been involved in writing software since my Mom started bringing home her Apple II+ every weekend in the early 80s. I\'ve been writing software professionally since 1990. I started out as a performance and manufacturing test engineer, then moved to product development. I\'ve developed expert systems for manufacturing processes, automated test systems, software for DMMs, oscilloscopes, and various embedded systems, software and user interfaces for Automatic External Defibrillators, and software, hardware, and system architecture for scalable ADCs and network security.My goal has always been to create products that solve interesting problems and make lots of money.Specialties: software and hardware architecture, distributed systems, TCP/IP networking, human/computer interfaces, reliable systems, performance test engineering, DSP, the usual panoply of software languages.
