ABOUT PAUL STROUD

Before I retired I was EY Americas Deputy Vice Chair-Tax. I supported and teamed with Marna Ricker, EY Americas Vice Chair-Tax on creating and executing on the strategy for the Americas Tax Practice. We focused on developing the best talent to exceptionally serve our clients and solve their most complex challenges. Prior to becoming the Americas Deputy Vice Chair-Tax, I served as the Americas Tax Managing Partner for EY’s Financial Services Organization (FSO). As the Americas FSO Tax Leader, I oversaw a practice of more than 1,600 professionals across Wealth & Asset Management, Banking & Capital Markets, and Insurance.Before becoming the Tax Managing Partner, I served as the Tax Leader for the Banking & Capital Markets Group within the FSO, expanding the group’s footprint from NY, to the Northeast, to all of the U.S. during my 11 years leading the group. In my 30 years of accounting experience, I have also served as the Senior Advisor Tax Partner and Global Tax Account Leader for several of our firm\'s largest bank and asset manager clients. I serve as a Senior Subject Matter Advisor on general and industry specific tax advisory services, tax structuring, transaction evaluation, and M&A due diligence. I am passionate about the strength and breadth of our tax practice. I am passionate about supporting diversity and inclusiveness activities and the endeavors of our people. I am also passionate about Villanova basketball-go Cats!
