About Paul Stoos

Making commercials and creating content for newscasts has filled the last twenty five years of my life. Keeping up with the changing video and photography platforms in television, has been both exciting and challenging. I am involved with the assignment of stories, editorial meetings, planning and execution of that content in a active newsroom. Communication is my strongest trait when deadlines are necessary, and spontaneous decisions have to be made concerning the direction we go with our news story. These decision require that I am skilled with different cameras, editing equipment, live trucks, mobile live backpacks, and satellite vehicles. My leadership by example has not only made my station a success, but developed into peer friendships for a lifetime.

   I got to join the SKLIP company this spring and develop a national ad campaign for the revolutionary device. Getting the brand cemented and started creating several sales funnels has been exciting and challenging. Best part is the company being founded in Europe, invokes a lot of travel to Italy, and I am not complaining. It is a type of dermatoscope that attaches to your smartphone or in office iPad. When properly aligned with your phone’s camera, the attachment allows your smart device to take images of your patient’s moles with higher clarity, magnification, and analysis tools. These photos can be used to supplement your virtual dermatology care, allowing you to provide the highest quality images thus improve your ability to evaluate potential skin cancers, including melanoma.
