Certified Rhapsody Developer (Associate), Cloverleaf Developer(Intermediate) with experience in multiple integration engines(Rhapsody,Cloverleaf, Mirth). I have over a decode of experience doing healthcare interoperability work using standard formats including HL7 v2.x and CCDA to connect hospitals and provider EMRs using industry standard transport protocols and methods(HTTP for SOAP/RAW Post/Get Requests, MLLP via TCP for VPN, sFTP, etc). Experience with Mirth to tackle custom workflows needing unique transformations. Experience creating and calling custom scripts via command line or engine using Python, TCL or JavaScript. Highly motivated and analytical individual with practical experience and education in healthcare integration, interfaces and healthcare. I enjoy problem solving and working with interfaces to connect disparate systems in the healthcare field in order to help improve the patient continuum of care. Enjoy challenges that utilize programming and integration engines to solve a problem, use case or business need. Have experience in both the clinical and Healthcare IT market as I am a Radiology Technologist as well. My past clinical experience helps understand how healthcare IT and interfaces affect patients and physicians. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, playing music, learning new programming/scripting languages, automation, software and various other technology related activities.
