I am a medicinal chemist with a strong grounding in synthetic chemistry as well as state-of-the-art analytical characterization techniques. During the last years I have been primarily working on the development of novel (metal-based) anticancer agents (e.g. kinase inhibitors, small-molecules for protein degradation). The project topics ranged from a first plan and synthesis, mainly of potential novel anticancer agents, up to route optimization and initial scale-up. Thereby, I was able to identify and optimize the most promising candidates, establish initial structure-activity relationships, and develop new synthetic approaches.
