July 2013 - currentSenior Claims SpecialistHDI Global Specialty SE, London (formally Inter Hannover SE)• Accountable & responsible for handling US & UK Property (Including High Net Worth Property) and Liability Claims, via referral and directly from FNOL to settlement promptly, with due consideration of subrogation where appropriate and tight costs control.• Provide proactive delivery of first-class claims experience to clients, brokers and internal stakeholders in adherence with all guidelines, claims philosophy and procedures.• Subject matter expert and specialist knowledge of US & UK Property. • Actively participate in Quality Control Management of TPA’s performance. • Monitor accounts in partnership with Underwriters & provide claims insights to develop/retain profitable business.• Support Claims Manager in delivering the strategic objectives.• Stand in for Claims Manager as required.• Manage and strengthen effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.• Promote & deliver a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement, mentoring and sharing technical expertise with colleagues.• Regularly access and monitor claims data to ensure quality of claims financials & provide insights to various internal stakeholders.• Manipulate data & provide analysis of claims to highlight trends, performance issues, leakage, costs spend, litigation and fraud and assist in the development of processes for improvement for responsible lines, responding to business requests
