Responsible for the executive managment and operations of the Health Care Foundation. Leading a staff of 10 professional Fundraisers and support personnel and governered by a Volunteer Board of Directors, my primary roles are in relationship development, public relations, individual and corporate development and executive managment.The Health Care Foundation raises funds in support of the 5 adult Hospitals of the greater St. John\'s region, which provide direct and emergency care for the area and tertiary and specialized care for the entire province. Through Philanthropic support we purchase state of the art and next generation medical equipment, support medical research here in NL, provide staff education and training support and provide for Comfort in Care. Each year through a variety of programs, the Health Care Foundations raises millions of dollars in support of local Health Care.
