About Paul Singer
I started a newspaper for my neighborhood when I was 10 years old and have been involved in journalism in some fashion ever since. After decades covering government and politics in DC, I moved to Boston in 2018 to join GBH News, where I ran the investigations unit and then launched and managed a new Equity & Justice team. In Oct. 2025 I moved to Providence to help Ocean State Media launch a new model for public media, steeped in the voices and stories of communities around the state.
