ABOUT PAUL SINCLAIR
I have a lot of passion surrounding the development of events and conferences that move the needle on the sector they serve. I have spent over 20 years working on large scale B2B events that I have developed and grown from both a strategic and commercial perspective. I have led and developed several large-scale Oil, Gas and Energy events between the 2002 and 2022 in Asia, Africa, North America, and Europe. Most recently I personally launched an investment Summit which hosted Heads of State and Ministers from across Africa to develop capital and partnership for bankable projects. My background as a British Ghanaian has driven my passion to work in Africa and play my part in supporting governments and the private sector in accessing international finance. To date, I am proud to be the VP for Energy at Hyve Group for the Africa region. This position allows me to continue with my two main interests which are conferences and inward investment into Africa. I believe events can play a key role in promoting Africa as the investment destination of choice. My skill sets include I would describe myself as- Commercially and strategically focused - Governments relations expert - Target driven - Strong leadership skills - Network builder
