I work part-time for the Brendle Group, an energy, water and transportation consulting firm. Previously, I worked for the City of Westminster as the Chief Sustainability Officer. We focused on working to make Westminster an even better place to live, work, play and visit by emphasizing all elements of sustainability, especially economic and social. I led efforts related developing a sustainability plan, creating sustainability foundational materials including policies, procedures and tools, integrating sustainability into city systems, including budgeting, and enhancing city operations. I also worked on a variety of sustainable economic development efforts, including reducing risk to businesses from climate change, creating green economy opportunities and scaling up business energy efficiency programs.
