Capital Planning and Analysis• Participate in highly complex financial analyses in support of management decision-making and assisting in setting strategic direction regarding capital levels for the consolidated company and individual depository institutions• A primary point of contact coordinating multiple activities and analyses as part of the assessment of capital adequacy for Wells Fargo’s depository institutions• Identify and collect appropriate data and perform analysis and complex problem solving regarding Regulatory Capital implications, common shares activity and related subsidiary dividend and infusion estimates• Participate in the development and coordination of capital forecasts for the Capital Stress Testing process and reporting to Senior Management and the Board of Directors• Identify and compute key capital metrics for Wells Fargo and its peers• Maintain complex modeling tools to compute capital ratios using various data sources• Partner with business lines to understand projected financials and prepare quarterly reporting for bank board meetings• Responsible for oversight on Wells Fargo\'s share repurchase authority, including ongoing monitoring and reporting; coordinate transactions related to Wells Fargo’s ESOP• Work closely with numerous areas including Legal, Regulatory Reporting, Accounting, Corporate Tax, business lines, etc. to gather data and identify and resolve issues• Work extended hours and weekends as needed to simultaneously manage multiple projects and meet critical business needs• Advanced MS Office skills; frequently use Essbase; general ledger system knowledge and understanding• In-depth understanding of Wells Fargo’s legal entity structure and knowledge of Regulatory Capital requirementsKey Achievements: • Improved calculation and reporting efficiency and accuracy while reducing risk in critical files through VLOOKUP automation and enhanced process documentation• Improved reporting accuracy through secondary review
