As a leader, I apply team focused strategies to power process improvement and enhanced psychological resilience. I have developed clinical programs to treat military PTSD and also managed multidisciplinary teams who work collaboratively to treat the chronic effects of TBI. I have also worked with large public safety organizations to improve the monitoring and recovery from primary psychological disorders and substance use disorders.Years of valuable deckplate experience prepared me to effect meaningful change at the organizational level leading to the implementation of the Expanded Operational Stress Control program across the entire U.S. Navy. As a clinician I enjoy helping people to better understand the patterns in their life, and adapting those to create positive outcomes. I take a personalized approach to each patient which starts with a detailed assessment, which then informs our work to create a treatment plan which might involve psychotherapy, mind-body interventions, medication management, or neuromodulation.Together we will build resilience and connectedness to improve the lives of those in our community.
