MMIST is a full solution provider of Precision Aerial Delivery products and services including the Sherpa family of GPS guided parafoils, the SkyLink Parachutist Navigation and Situational Awareness system, the CQ-10A SnowGoose cargo unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) along with mission planning tools, services and support equipment. • Plan and prioritize processes to ensure that resources are well aligned to maximize delivery of projects. Resource management will include workload monitoring using Agile and Jira, technical mentoring, performance reviews, encouraging continuous learning, skill development and management of software releases with respect to project timelines. • Evaluate technical challenges and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities. • Take ownership of the software development policy, guidelines, and any associated documents. • Initiate and develop creative and innovative products and software development processes. • Oversee all aspects of software development design. • Prepare technical and contractual documentation providing technical support to business development. This include supporting bids and proposals with preliminary design concepts, level of effort analysis and schedule development. • Ensure development is supported with appropriate qualification documentation and ensure all design data is maintained appropriately. • Manage all Software Verification/Qualification Testing (internal and external to MMIST). • Report on software development activities to relevant stakeholders/projects on a regular basis, including relevant KPI.
