In a long, fun, and fulfilling career, I have worked as the technical arm of an enterprise software sales team, my role to evaluate customer needs and pain points and to present and recommend financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and integration. I have held leadership roles and have thrived as an individual contributor. I also build websites, and I have written and/or contributed to about 20 books on Microsoft technologies.At Workiva, I support our focus on presenting awesome solutions for regulatory, compliance, sustainability, and management reporting. Everyday, I talk to customers about integrating their systems of record with our cloud platform. I talk about the journey of data from ERPs, GLs, warehouses, marts, lakes, spreadsheets, and databases, to Workiva reports. It’s just terrific. I have the best job.
