ABOUT PAUL RUTHERFORD

For the past 38 years Brigadier-General (Retired) Paul Rutherford has been a highly rated, proven institutional leader at all levels of the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces. Having led and guided organizations up to and including the rank of Brigadier-General, he brings a vast degree of experience, knowledge and common sense to the table on guiding military and civilian personnel on the plethora of compelling issues that challenge large organisations. He has carried this out both at home and abroad, and in concert with Canada’s closest Allies to include the British Ministry of Defence, British Army and the US Department of Defence. He has had success in managing Departmental change reform programmes, implementing strategic initiatives and guiding the career opportunities of many hundreds of personnel who have fallen under his responsibility. He confidently inspires groups onto successful outcomes through an inclusive leadership style, a respect for all personnel and their opinions and an ability to deliver much needed solutions. He has a broad experience set in the field of national security issues, international affairs, IM/IT programs, and Cyber and Network operations. His military career has been served in Canada, the USA, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia
