ABOUT PAUL RUSSELL

I am a Solutions & Integration Architect originally coming from a background (10+ years) of hands-on web application development for boutique development houses and digital marketing agencies. I have complemented this with an additional 8 years in house experience with an enterprise perspective.On my career journey I originally stepped into development leadership and director roles, where I took my hands-on experience to mentor and grow development talent as well as evolving and innovating the product offerings. However for the last 6 years I have taken the challenge to move into Architecture, driven by an ambition to professionally grow and follow a passion for technical strategy and design, where I have experience in integration design with a focus on digital customer engagement, utilising technologies such as Boomi, Azure AIS, AWS, Salesforce, Sitecore and Contentful. As an Integration Architect I developed an enterprise wide Integration Strategy that supported both A2A and B2B with both API and EDI interfaces. I have implemented Boomi iPaaS and AWS services as well as establishing an Integration Centre of Excellence that provided the transformation from a legacy point to point integration landscape to event driven services. As a Solutions Architect I am experienced with customer engagement solutions using either Salesforce or Dynamics 365 at their core in both Energy and FMCG industries within Commercial, Operational and Supply Chain domains. I have worked on business and technology transformation programmes, evolved technical strategy, generated solution designs and roadmaps as well as providing architecture governance.
