Our network covers over 500 Freight Ferry routes throughout Europe and many other services relating to the European Transport industry, headquartered in Newry, Northern Ireland.My role is to direct and oversee all of the financial activities, to include the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth.Key duties and responsibilities:* Supports the Board in the preparation of budgets and financial reports,including income statements, balance sheets, tax returns and reports forGovernment regulatory agencies. Contributes to the achievement of the company objectives by providingadvice and guidance on financial strategy. Oversees all accounting procedures and systems used by the Company. Manage the month-end close process ensuring the accuracy and timelinessof reporting, ensuring appropriate analysis and explanations for variances. Review reports and analyse projections of sales and income against actualfigures and suggests methods of improving the planning process. Responsible for cash flow management and reporting, ensuring that cashflow is managed appropriately. Responsible for delivering the Group audit, working with the FinancialControllers/Accountants to ensure the audit runs smoothly and all reportingrequirements and deadlines are met. Support the Group Finance Director in all finance transformation projects,including a new finance system implementation. In conjunction with the Board, assess the long term financial trends andreview prospects for future growth of income and new product areas. To ensure the Company meets its financial and legal responsibilities.
