The project management office (PMO) is responsible for the centralized and coordinated management of Facilities and Construction projects supporting Lam Research manufacturing, lab space, data centers, infrastructure, and office space. The Project management Team is an integral part of Global Workplace Solutions organization. The PMO ensures that the Project Manager oversees the constraints (scope, schedule, cost, and quality, etc.) of the individual projects and manages the methodologies, standards, overall risk/opportunity, and interdependencies among projects at the enterprise level. The PMO ensures that Project Managers drive performance to specified project objectives, identifies potential opportunities to better achieve business objectives and ensures alignment with strategic needs of the Lam Research. The PMO controls the assigned project resources to best meet project objectives while and optimizes the use of shared organizational resources across all projects.
