I’m a communications and technical writing professional based in Albuquerque, NM, with a background spanning journalism, public affairs, multimedia production, and now aviation software documentation.I currently work as a Technical Writer at ULTRAMAIN Systems, where I create and maintain documentation for ULTRAMAIN ELB, the market-leading electronic logbook software deployed across more than aircraft worldwide. My work supports flight crews, cabin crew, maintenance engineers, and back-office staff who rely on clear, accurate documentation to maintain the safety and reliability of their fleets.Before transitioning into technical writing, I spent several years producing strategic communications and multimedia content in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. As a Public Affairs Specialist supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory through STI-TEC, I translated complex R&D programs into accessible content for public, media, and congressional audiences; work that required the same core skill technical writing demands: understand the technology deeply, then explain it clearly.I hold an active Secret security clearance and a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
