About Paul Reid

My career started with Ferranti (later GEC Marconi) in the UK, working with Military Avionics. After several years in this field, I felt the need to experience the other end of the manufacturing spectrum, so took an opportunity to move to China and work for a Mass Production, low technology Electronics firm named X-10 Electronics. Whilst in China, I was given an opportunity to join Baker Hughes Centrilift as an Applications Engineer, which I took. Since then, I have held the following positions with Centrilift: Sales Engineer (Beijing), Marketing Manager (Indonesia), District Manager (Indonesia) & Middle East South Asia Area Manager (Dubai). in 2008, I became the Director of Sales with Baker Hughes in Indonesia covering sales for all Baker Hughes Productlines in the Geomarket. In July of 2012 I became the Country Director for Baker Hughes across Far West Africa, inclusive of Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Togo and Benin, whilst being based in Accra, Ghana.In January of 2014, I was asked if I would take on a Product line role based in the US as the Product line Director for ESP under the Artificial Lift Systems Product line. This started my career journey within the US.Since then, I have run North America Artificial Lift operations, managed the Quinn Pump (part of Lufkin) business (manufacturing, sales and operations) when they were owned by Baker Hughes and for the last 3 years, have been the Director of Global Quality for the Baker Hughes Artificial Lift product lineIn summary, I am a hard working, self motivated person.
