As a professional in the insurance brokerage industry, I bring extensive expertise in placing insurance for commercial clients and providing exceptional risk management services. Throughout my career, I have held numerous leadership and management positions in the insurance brokerage, risk management, oilfield services, and construction sectors.In the early I joined one of the largest insurance brokerages in the industry and served in various positions across the Calgary, Grande Prairie, and Red Deer regions. My roles included that of an Energy Broker and Senior Account Executive, where I was responsible for managing mid- to large-sized energy, logistic, and construction accounts.With over 20 years of direct experience in the Oil & Gas and Construction sectors, including 13 years at a large-cap risk management firm, I am also proud to have served as a partner in my own Insurance Brokerage. During my career, I also spent seven years as a shareholder operating and managing an Oilfield Services business, providing me with a strong understanding of the risks associated with these operations.My expertise in the insurance industry is backed by industry-specific training and education, including a Bachelor of Business Administration and Insurance from Mount Royal College. Through my rigorous academic pursuits and hands-on experience, I have gained a profound understanding of the Insurance Industry, as well as the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Transportation Industries.In addition to my professional achievements, I am an active participant in the local community, where I endeavor to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
