ABOUT PAUL RAMPERSAUD
As a proud first-generation college graduate and the child of immigrant parents, I have always been motivated by a deep desire to break generational barriers and create opportunities for others. My journey has been shaped by resilience, hard work, and a passion for public service. With a background in political science and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I have dedicated my career to empowering underrepresented communities. My background focuses on advocating for community members, developing government relations strategies, and founding NextGen Scholars for Change, a nonprofit that prepares first-generation students in the Chicagoland area for leadership in public service. I am committed to driving meaningful change through policy, mentorship, and community engagement. Learn more about NextGen Scholars for Change and our mission: ngsfc.org
