ABOUT PAUL COLE
I am and engineer working on a range of projects, with a primary focus being co-founder of powerQuad set up in the UK in 2018. powerQuad is a British tech company specialising in engineering design and manufacture of technologies that use the latest in lithium battery technology. Our inhouse engineers offer a very wide and deep knowledge base which means we can bring our technologies and other systems together in a unique way to provide solutions for the changing needs bought around by the net zero drive.Helping others comes naturally to me, as does my drive to help the environment comes from a young age, and so the opportunity to start a businesses that makes a real difference is a dream come true. powerQuad continues to grown with strength, as more and more businesses want to make changes to benefit others. My focus is-• To help businesses cut operating costs as well as their carbon footprint through the use of powerQuads technologies.• Encourage sustainability in engineering for long life products, with high quality goods and services. Maintaining high standards of product compliance.I started in the power test equipment industry with T&R Test Equipment Ltd. I was there for over 10 years being their Technical Director for a team of engineers overseeing all aspects of R&D. I was in that role for 6 years maintaining a proactive hands on approach towards volume production product designs, and customer specific products.I am a trained electronics design engineer with experience in both analogue, advanced digital and power circuits. My power industry knowledge both in the UK and in a number of overseas markets, laid the foundations of my skills for starting powerQuad. I\'ve continued to work for a range of organisations in differing engineering capacities to help bring new products to market, support their engineering team(s) and advise on a general engineering management or directorship role.
