Offshoot Films has just been awarded with GYPAV The Innovation in Education and Skills Award from Suffolk County Council\'s Raising The Bar initiative for it\'s project WHO ASKS US. WHO ASKS US works with schools and business\'s to teach young people about the world of work. For more info please contact us. Offshoot Films aims to: • Enthuse, excite and inspire young people. • Co-ordinate, prepare and implement projects and workshops, manage equipment and resources efficiently. • Work with young people with diverse backgrounds and varying abilities. • Work with schools and other organisations to ensure learning objectives are met,(in accordance to the National Curriculum if required) • Design workshops in response to an issue or theme, in an imaginative way. • Administrative tasks including completing funding applications, handling bookings, and creation of learning resources. • Strategic marketing of Offshoot Films, including management and redesign of website and content. • Management of social media websites on behalf of Offshoot Films. • Involvement in every aspect of corporate media production.(Clients include Network Rail and Suffolk County Council). • Responding to ‘call for submissions’. Writing applications, budgets and presenting pitches to prospective clients. • Proficiency with post-production tools such as Final Cut Pro, and design tools such as Photoshop. • Support students in their duration of work experience. • Assist during weekly filmmaking club for young people and develop a program of activities to engage members, based on feedback from evaluation sheets. • Adopt health and safety, inclusion, protection policies.
