The is an Indigenous led organization with Indigenous staff supporting Indigenous communities. • The provides cultural, emotional and spiritual support by highly skilled and experienced staff, Elders and Sacred Knowledge Keepers to individuals, families and communities as survivors and intergenerational survivors of residential schools; survivors of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG); survivors of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys; and survivors of Indian Day Schools and more. The provides culturally based support to communities, and cultural health and healing to youth impacted by the over-representation of Indigenous people in the criminal justice system. The also offers workshops on Colonialism, History and Impacts of residential schools. • The operates in a respectful and safe work environment, supporting a staff of 60 and a team of 35 Elders and Sacred Knowledge Keepers, through 8 offices across BC. Highlights: • Key member of management team, working with Board, Funders, Management and all staff; • Strong professional relationships with our funders, including the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), and Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments. • Oversight of Finance, IT, Donations, Assets, Risk, Contracts.
