Hazardous Materials Consulting Services for Military Projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic for proposed renovation/demolition projects at various military bases and locations. Accident Prevention Plan and Activity Hazard Analysis submittals in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual. Perform comprehensive surveys of buildings, piers, and/or berths to identify asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint, poly-chlorinated biphenyl-containing light ballasts, creosote-contaminated pilings, etc. Supervise the preparation of reports and a comprehensive set of contract documents for the abatement of asbestos and lead and the disposal of PCB-containing light ballasts and mercury-containing fixtures. Abatement design drawings and specifications were prepared for contractor bidding in accordance with specific contract drawing standards.
