About Paul Perryman
My extensive experience in both behavioral health and critical care has offered me the opportunity to learn not only about medically complex patients but also overlooked, vulnerable patient populations within our society. As an organizational leader, I will always be a part of realizing the mission to support quality patient care through helping to create a vision that supports those delivering that care. My leadership approach supports organizational needs to maintain compliance with key regulatory agencies; creates a supportive, safe working environment; and facilitates a holistic space that supports innovative and data-driven solutions to help drive quality outcomes, and meet organizational goals. The following core values drive how I function as a leader.I value safety: Staff safety and patient safety are opposite sides of the same coin. You cannot have one without the other. I will strive to make sure our efforts effectively support safe patient care by using data to drive evidence-based support to enhance safety and quality of care.I value just culture: I will play a role in creating a work culture that honors the intrinsic worth of staff and pushes them to embrace their greatest qualities. This means empowering frontline staff and leaders to make decisions.I value quality and efficiency: Efficiency and “value-added actions” are principles at the forefront of my mind when looking at workflow and patient care. I understand that frontline workers are the best source for identifying and solving problems.I value ambition and hard work: This is an exciting opportunity to provide leadership and direction in a highly dynamic, complex healthcare environment. This position will challenge me to set goals, grow professionally, problem-solve, and innovate, all while engaging key stakeholders.I value vulnerability: It is only through being vulnerable that people can achieve their greatest moments of courage and success. I value teamwork and communication: I will work closely with leaders, staff and customers to develop strategic relationships that promote positive interactions. These interactions are maximized with a leader who is resolute, kind, honest, trusting, transparent, hard-working under a common vision, flexible, comfortable to share unpopular ideas, and willing to own actions. I value fiscal responsibility: Without fiscal responsibility, an organization cannot meet its mission to improve the health and well-being of the clients it serves.
