Together with the CEO, the SVP of Lending, and the SVP of Corporate Support & IT, serve as part of an executive team to assist in directing all credit union operations which include planning, recommending, and implementing programs and policies, and providing general administrative direction. • Assists the President/CEO in the overall executive leadership of the credit union. • Plans, directs, organizes, and controls the retail activities and staff of the credit union. • Executive oversight of the Branch, Branch Operations, Member Service, Member Support, Virtual Branch, Marketing, Business Development, and Wealth Management areas of the credit union. Provides assistance in determining short and long-term objectives for the credit union. • Operates the credit union in a manner that drives the credit union toward results that meet established goals while controlling and minimizing risk. • Evaluates the efficiency in the retail operation by analyzing delivery channels, branching strategy, branch profitability and evaluating third party relationships on a reoccurring basis. • Assists in the control and management of cash and investments of a structured investment portfolio. • Assists in the financial management of the credit union through analysis of profitability, cash flow, and expense control that enables safety and soundness while allowing for growth or the organization. • Participates in strategic planning and the development of credit union policies and procedures related to all areas of the Retail Division. • Oversees the creation of departmental budgets and departmental business and global strategic plans. • Oversees new program development and new partner formation to ensure superior personal member service. • Assists in the development, performance evaluation, training, motivation and discipline of the Senior Leadership Team, providing support, input, feedback, and guidance concerning daily operations and staff development.
