ABOUT PAUL NUTTON HONS

21 years strategic sourcing, category management and operational procurement experience across a diverse range of indirect and direct spend categories in FMCG, Retail, Construction, Telecommunications and Facilities Management, P2P and Oracle Cloud.Had a significant contribution in bidding for and mobilising complex facilities management projects in local government, blue light, education, healthcare and commercial sectors, establishing and managing complex supply chains to deliver both hard and soft FM services.I lead a diverse team of seven procurement professionals driving strategic sourcing and category management which supports multiple Operating Units and Enabling Functions including HR and IT. This team delivers significant cost savings and supply chain improvement year on year. I recently undertook a Director of Procurement & Supply Chain position, holding temporary responsibility for managing the Procurement Leadership Team, and driving the development and implementation of procurement strategy across the UK Business Unit which spends circa £1bn per annum on its supply chain.Key areas recently procured personally include a first generation managed service provider for temporary workers, pensions administration services and an ERP system and associated System Integrator, fleet management services for a company car fleet of 1,300, and a complex data centre migration.Other responsibilities include being a sponsor for 12 groups of graduates tasked to identify digital products and services for the business and a member of Skanska\'s Digital Design Authority, developing, scrutinising and implementing digital solutions, improving data quality and improving productivity across the organisation. Also had a key role to play in the divestment of Skanska\'s Infrastructure Services division to M Group Services in 2021 and developed and implemented an industry leading approach for ensuring compliance with IR35 for a contingent workforce of circa 500 people across the organisation with HR and Tax teams.Key motto - Nothing is too difficult.
