Cramlington, GB
Project managed from inception to completion the installation of a large-scale pharmaceutical substation based around two 1.5MVA transformers with a bus coupled LV switch panel. Outgoing supplies and containment to power over 2500 m2 of production plant and 500 m2 of warehousing. All supplies were transferred out of hours with no loss to production. I managed and coordinated all trades including HV/LV electricians, civil engineers, steel fixers, brick layers, roofers, cable gangs and louvre specialists. The project was completed within the 9-month time frame and within budget. Client issued award in recognition of achievement and project success. • Managed new road access project to a pharmaceutical production site complete with upgraded CCTC, security and gate access system. Heavily involved in the design stage with early client liaison allowed for a very smooth install. The project included new ducted LV supplies and fibre optics. Collaboration with cross functional teams resulted in all work being completed to schedule, within agreed costs. Contractors included LV electricians, communication and security engineers and civil engineers. The project was remote and self sufficient throughout. The site set up included temporary cabins, welfare and generators.• Management of all electrical systems for a critical site chiller upgrade. Armstrong pumps controlled by a dual supplied MCC and remotely monitored via the BMS. MCC modified and upgraded to meet current standards and new demands. Upgrades to metering and plant room monitoring to bring the system in line with the site integration policy. Coordination and management of equipment specialists and subcontractors vital to the success of the project. All completed to an excellent standard within tight timescales and on budget.
