US Inventor is an organization of over independent inventors and startups who create jobs by using United States patents to startup up new companies or bring innovation to existing companies. The strength and stability of patent rights are critical to our livelihoods and our businesses. US Inventor educates Congress and the public about challenges of inventors and startups that rely on patents to protect their businesses under the current weak patent system. We organize educational events in Washington DC and back home, as well as trips for inventors to meet with their elected representatives. We promote legislation to correct the harm caused to inventors and startups by the destructive America Invents Act of 2011, damaging Supreme Court decisions and agency capture of the USPTO and other agencies within the Administration. We file amicus briefs in the courts on various patent and inventor related issues to explain the effects of court decisions on small inventors and startups.
