Working in collaboration with various clients such as Network Rail, TFL and HS2 to drive and deliver safe projects whilst keeping our people at the heart of everything we do.I am highly motivated, confident health and safety professional with all the relevant qualifications, as well as extensive knowledge gained within 17 years of working within the operational railway construction industry, 8 years of management experience, including a high-level positions.It was an unfortunate but life changing moment in my operational career that lead me to peruse my passion for safety doing what I can to ensure people go home Safe and sometimes healthier than they arrived.A thorough, up-to-date knowledge of all health and safety legislation and codes of practice. Specific knowledge of health and safety as it applies to different industries e.g. utilities, manufacturing, construction whilst competent in writing, monitoring and reviewing policies, procedures, risk assessments, investigation reports. Being a people person I’m more than happy to liaise and engage with people on all levels including other health and safety professionals, external contractors, executive/senior management, legislative bodies and general staff. I have a feeling/sensory personality which shines through as both a strong team player and leader with the ability to share my knowledge and experience to solve various operational issues.
