ABOUT PAUL MARTIN
With over five years of experience in project and programme management, I am a driven and skilled product development portfolio manager at LGC Genomics Division, a global leader in applied genomics solutions. My mission is to apply my knowledge and expertise in in vitro diagnostic devices (IVDD) and research and development (R&D) to help develop and manufacture innovative solutions for healthcare challenges.I have successfully managed and overseen the development and integration of molecular diagnostics and rapid diagnostics on a point-of-care system in the healthcare field, achieving the CE marking of two products under ISO 13485:2012 and In Vitro Diagnostic Directive 98/79/EC. I have also led and supported the portfolio management of multiple projects with budgets exceeding £2m, delivering highly multiplexed assays for infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance. I have collaborated and coordinated with multidisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers, as well as external partners and suppliers, across the UK, Europe, and the USA. I am passionate about continuous improvement and professional development, and I hold PRINCE2 and AgilePM certifications.
