An accomplished senior leader in data protection, cybersecurity, and risk governance, I have over 15 years\' experience in FTSE 100 organisations shaping compliance, resilience, and ethical adoption of emerging technologies.As Group Data Protection Officer at Hargreaves Lansdown, I support the data protection function for one of the UK\'s largest retail investment platforms, serving approximately 2 million clients across pensions and investment products. I oversee UK GDPR and DPA 2018 compliance, advise on AI governance, and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and the Board on data protection risk and strategy.Previously as Group Data Protection Officer at St. James\'s Place Wealth Management, I built the function from the ground up, embedding GDPR/DPA 2018 compliance, advising on AI/ML governance, and serving as a trusted Board advisor.
